I rather like the gorilla - though he looks a little disappointed. Transference?
is it becuase he has no elbows?

he had elbows when i drew the rough i think...!
don't know where they went in the meantime...
it's also his colour or the tone [too dark, so he sinks back too far] and a gorilla's legs don't sit like that, they're more 'splayed' maybe... whatever it is, something's not right [these things keep me awake at night you know...]
